Performance Benefits and Overview
PEB2050 is a concentrate of a 58–62nm particle sized carbon black in an LDPE carrier. It is manufactured to give a high standard of pigment dispersion making it
suitable for quality film applications. PEB2050 also incorporates an antiblock agent that makes film rolls easier to unwrap.
PEB2050 is an economical grade that contains 50% carbon black. This high loading of carbon black makes the grade cost effective in applications that have a specified minimum carbon black level in the final component.
Application Areas
PEB2050 is currently used in the following areas:
• Single layer film (down to 25 microns) for agricultural, refuse and construction applications.
• Moulding & compounding. This grade provides a cost effective solution in applications that have a defined minimum carbon black level.
• Profile extrusion – Thick sections including none pressure construction pipe.
PEB2050 is compatible with all Polyethylene polymers and is usually suitable in Polypropylene.
